Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

And an unplanned purchase of a Team Fuji....to cheap and good to pass up.

Bayliss geometry Tallerico, 18.1lbs with 28mm tires. Best bike I've ever had or ridden. Campy Chorus with hideous or awesome brake hoods.

Old Voodoo CX bike with a brand new powder coat. 1x10. Now pay attention. SLX derailleur, Sunrace cassette, campy Chorus cranks, generic narrow wide ring and microshift bar end shifter. The tires arrive on Wednesday. It's 19.88lbs, so with Maxxis Ramblers, should be right about 22. I can live with that.

All my road bikes are steel, but here is my newest. It's Columbus Zona tubing and i built it during the winter and spring in a local class taught by a long time builder. He painted it.

Is any body else not seeing my pics? I posted a link to another thread, and they were able to see a bike, so it's not just me.

Over in Addiction, they can see this one. The only one I've checked. I guess I'll have to try again. Maybe if I just post the url.

https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycling/367026-starting-official-steel-club-81.html#post20517822&gid=1&pid=28

When i paste a url into the correct box on the upload screen, it doesn't insert. Oh well.

Here's the Team Fuji I shared earlier now that it's all sorted out.

22 lbs 10 ozs. I do have black pedals on it now.

Settled on yellow bar tape

Used contrasting blue finishing tape

Then I picked up this Davidson Impulse that I'm still sorting out.
