So looking at TTown posts, Kim was inducted in the Hall of Fame the night I was there. But when they started doing the announcements, Junior had to go to the bathroom, and he needed food, so we missed most of it. I didn't realize until I was reading Facebook that she was inducted that night.
In technical related things, I put the longer ISM saddle on and the bike immediately felt better.
I also finally, finally installed the seat rail SRM mount. I got it with the track cranks but for the life of me could not figure out how to put it on - the computer kept getting in the way. Basically I failed the IQ test, like how does this shape fit there? Well, today, when putting on the saddle, I put the PC7 onto the mount held it up to the saddle.... and I realized, oh, that's how it fits. I don't know why it took me something like 19 months to figure it out.

I ordered a tubular one of these. Same mold as the revolver.

mates well with a 23mm tub.
The downside was about a three month wait due to COVID and tubular being special order.

I went with the same wheel and love it. The width is... surprising at first, but it tested shockingly fast, and feels really good.

Small question and I might just be going crazy here, but what the heck happened to track chainring costs?
I was looking to replace the drivetrain on one of my framesets and the old traditional standard FSA is 100 bucks now (I remember them at $50 forever on Ben's Cycle), Shimano 7710's are 140+, Sugino Zen chainrings are 250 bucks (I bought a 50T two years ago for 140 and I thought that was a lot), etc etc.
I know Covid's hit supply chains pretty hard and such, but when did they all double in price?

Track rings have always been a bit steep, its why I prefer a 130bcd on my bike and 110bcd on the kids' bikes, BMX chainrings can be quite affordable and very good quality. Even they can still get expensive at 40-60.00 each but not as bad as 144bcd parts, probably due to the level of demand.

My wife is from St Petersburg and travels back once a year so if the Raketa proves to be round and hard wearing she will be picking me up a few next summer.

Is anyone on here running Miche Pistard Air or Pistard 2.0 crankset? If so, are you running the Miche BB or possibly a shimano Hollowtech 2 bb?
