On a recent tour through France. I’ll get around to making a thread for that trip sometime.

I really only ride this bike on tours these days, but I’ve made a few changes.

Between the scarcity of quality 9sp cassettes, and the desire for easier packing for flights, I changed it up to 10sp downtube shifters. The shift levers themselves are 8sp Dura Ace, with an indexing pod swap. An 11-34 cassette rounds it out.

The crankset is now a narrower Q-factor Ritchey 110/74, still a triple though.

I also swapped the tail light to a, sadly no-longer-available, VeloLumino fender light.

Racks come and go, the Nitto M-18 I’d been using as a rear rack now lives on another bike.

I think this bike would look great with the fender mounted SON rear light as well. You could always replace the VeloLumino with the Velo Orange reflector and the slightly higher mounted SON light.
Any idea why they stopped making the VeloLumino? Is it because the innards from the Busch & Müller Seculite Plus they used is no longer being produced?
