What would you pay. For this?

I have no interest in buying this bike just came across it at a pawn shop. I stop in this shop once in a blue moon and their prices seem very high for virtually everything. Anyway figured this might be a good way to judge their pricing. I live in northern Indiana. ... I'll post their asking price later if anyone replies.

I'd like the self appointed, valuation post police to take note of the title of the thread

What would you pay. For this?

It would be a hard pass for me, even if it were my size. At any price.

Out of curiosity, why? Anti Specialized? Current condition of bike? In the Campy only camp? Did a drop bar bike do you dirty and you've sworn vengence?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Bike doesn't seem to be a big hit with the crowd so far. .... They are asking $999.99 (US). I think they're crazy

I'll be your Huckleberry.

I have a 1986 Specialized Allez SE so I don't hold any bias against Spec.

The majority of my fleet is Campag equipped and I do have a Campag tattoo but I also have a Ti gravel bike with Shimano GRX. It performs very well.

I've been riding and racing drop bar bikes since this was new.

My valuation comment was based on nothing more than my opinion. It's behind the times in terms of all out tech, yet it isn't vintage. It's stuck in no man's land.

My bet would be that thing is hotter than a baked potato that the owner didn't bother to keep appropriate info on, or report. Old Tri bike with straight worn out cassette, I tend to agree with a price point around what Troul suggests.

I’d say they are $700 to $800 too high…and even that is being generous. From what I can find that’s a 2007. MSRP was $1200. An 15 year old bike depreciates a lot more than $200.

I wouldn't. Ragged out, scratched and with proprietary seat post as stated earlier. It will need new components soon and that will eat into any cost savings. Plus it's carbon, right? That's a big no also, for me.

i didn't do research but had a hunch the bike was about that age .... My spec MB is a 2007 and the bottom tube spec lettering is identical. Then again I'm no guru on changes in style over the years.

If stolen nothing and I would report it. If not stolen, $100 it is not a bike for me but some of those parts could be useful to have I guess.

The $24.99 tag price sounds reasonable if you like yellow.
