105 Di2 12 speed is available for pre-order?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I wonder why they aren't just offering a full group set.

It shouldn't matter whether a whole group or just parts are offered, unless there's a price break. Some buyers might want to try using their old 11 speed crank, for example. Some of those prices are higher than force axs. Force shifters with calipers run $332-350.

I think the full group sets are being snatched up by the bike manufacturers first. I just ordered a new bike with the 105 12spd Di2 setup.

Nice! If recent trickle-down tech into mechanical 105 is anything to go by, I am sure 105 Di2 is going to be an incredibly good groupset.

Saw this the other day and the parts are ETA of mid October. The problem I have with 105 Di2 is the price. Isn't like $1900 for a group set? SRAM Rival AXS eTap is $1650 for a 2X but at that price it includes a power meter. Yes Di2 is inherently a tad faster than eTap and yes 105 Di2 is still lighter but you can get SRAM Rival AXS eTap right now plus IMO I prefer it being truly wireless and being able to swap batteries albeit the battery life is less

I think there are lots of things available for pre-order, at least through a shop, either brick and mortar or online. I put in an order for the DA 12spd groupset months ago with my local shop and I am hoping they'll be able to get it for me before the end of the year.
