I start a fresh chain with hot wax and then top off with drip wax as needed. May do a full re-wax every 1000 miles or so.

switched to one of those overpriced drip wax “lubricants.” I’m amazed how much cleaner everything is after a hundred miles or so. sounds/feels a tiny bit smoother too, although I doubt it’s the 5 watts (or whatever) I was promised.
is this a sign that I’d like immersion wax even more, or am I getting most of the benefits without most of the hassle?

I put this stuff on my forklift mast chains a week ago. Make sure whatever you put it on is clean. The video is accurate. It goes on, coats the object and stays. Thins out some. So far so good.

My first wax-based lube was Squirt and the experience was so underwhelming that I didn't seriously make the switch to immersive waxing until I saw that ZFC started recommending CeramicSpeed drivetrain cleaner over OMS/denatured alcohol. It's not difficult or much of a fuss now but I'm totally willing to go back to drip wax if I can get a bottle of Flower Power lube.

no big watts here. Did about 60 miles today, i think it needs a re-drip. Still felt smooth but noisier. Looks great though, no comparison to the dry lube i was using, which turned everything near it black within short order.
