As it stands right now, it is 30.4lbs/13.8kg. Still needs FD, chain, and bar tape. I have 2 SS bottle cages to install also.

More done and a short ride, Wow this is so nice. Put 3km on it tonight and it is quick.

On the small cog 11t

Ain't that purty

On the big cog and spinnin'!

My first ride here with it painted and built, now for some bar tape.

Not sure leather or Cenelli rubber/cork.
That Dura-Ace 7700 GS is so nice. Paired with an Ultegra 6500 Double FD. Shifted by some 9 speed Dura-Ace barcons for 7700.

Actually a 48x45 Half step is better the 10% gaps change to 9% and the bottom is a tiny bit better at 33.1 GI
Here is that as a comparison. Bicycle Gear Calculator

That is the way it was when nlerner sent it to gugie. Really a neat feature. Need to get a picture of the bottom bracket with the similar treatment.

Personally, I'd go with cork tape for a few months. If I were certain of the positioning of the brake levers, I might switch to leather tape at that point. (Of course, I'd probably just be lazy and keep the cork tape if it was working for me...)

Looks great!

One last thing other than taping the bars. I need to put on a GUGIFICAZIONE! sticker.
Quick poll
DS chain stay?
DS top tube near the seat cluster
NDS top tube near the seat cluster
Other

The classic position for repaint deals is NDS chain stay near BB. This where I put them:

As in the DT decal, bias the location higher than centerline so it's readable looking down.

One More post...
Finally got a nice long ride in, 27km.

I determined that the brake levers needed to be moved a bit forward on the bars.
I also needed to re-route the front brake cable from over the bar to in front of the bars. With these changes made, it was time to put on the bar tape.
So here are a few pics of that.
