Replacing Shifter on Electra 7 Spd Cruiser

I have an old Electra Coaster 7 that I bought 2nd hand. The "Grip Shift Max" right thumb shifter has cracked and I need to get a new one. I've never bought a shifter and am not sure what to look for . It has exage 300 lx derailleurs. I started looking at options on Amazon and got confused pretty quickly about compatibility and apparent some didn't come with cables long enough for an Electra Cruiser.
I'm looking for whatever is the easiest to install/use. If anybody has a recommendation I'd be very grateful.

This shifter should work well with your exage derailleur and the cable is super easy to replace if you need a longer one:
