Yes it is just a bamboo sleeve on the fork, I was not prepared to risk a bamboo fork leg, James at the bamboo bicycle club has toyed with the idea and possibly built one, but I don't believe there is one in regular use!

1974 Bottecchia, powdercoated with Shimano parts I had lying around. 12-36 cassette and 50/34 cranks, climbs like a goat.

This was my dad's Bianchi Project 5, early 90s 700c mtb. I redid it with new powder coat and new parts. I love it.

The bike was my dad's Bianchi Project 5, he passed away in 2009 so I restored the bike to a more usable version for myself and thus, the Bianchi Project Jr. (I'm the 3rd).

Is there a limit to how many different threads you can post your bikes in? 
Anyway, here's my current bike put together with a used frame, some new and used parts to see if I'd like this type of bike.
I did, a lot. So I decided to go all in and by this new one and try to sell the old one....
