More help needed!!! with substitute disc

Sorry guys and gals, about to order my new rtear disc, need a front one too, seems that too is obsolete, its SM-RT64m 180mm. What is a good substitute and what does the M mean at the end of the number? Thanks in advance......

Plug that number in at this site...... https://si.shimano.com/#/

There are also links to compatibility charts at that site. Some things you might have to go into the archives, but if it's Shimano, then there is a lot of info there. You just have to learn how to search it and reason things.

From this site: https://www.worldwidecyclery.com/pro...ernal-lockring
the -M suffix seems to indicate 180mm and the -L suffix 203mm, and -S 160 Small, Meduim, Large, perhaps?

Shimano posts tech docs and manuals for most of their stuff. I suppose it depends on what level of knowledge you are starting at, but it is very likely that the information is somewhere on their site.

Specifically to your question - any 180mm rotor with the same attachment method will work.
If your hub and current disc have a 'centre lock' attachment, you can also get an adaptor to use any six-bolt rotor..
