A change of scenery
I've been living in a new area for the last 6 months and during winter didn't really get to explore that much. So over the last couple of weeks I've taken a day just to explore some back roads. Today was an exploring day and it was fun not knowing what was ahead and just enjoying some new sights.

One of my favourite ways to cycle is to just go out and ride, no plan, no exercise, no destination, go down roads I haven't been down before, just see what I might see. Feels like 1976.

same here, I have been riding all over the county that I live in ,I have been driving to different cities and parking my vehicle and taking off and exploring

Nice ride but too bad you started off blowing through a STOP sign. 
Most of my riding is under the stars so the same roads during daylight brings new adventures almost every ride because construction is bonkers with land being cleared and houses started.

Feels like 1976?
Wow. Brings back memories.
One of my favorite ways to ride now is with no real agenda. Just ride around looking at houses, parks, finding new trails. The ebike is great for that. The motor gives me greater flexibility in selecting routes.
Went to visit my mom for a few months after living elsewhere for 30+ years. Brought two bikes with me. It was really something exploring where I grew up. Omaha has really embraced bike trails, lots of options now. I rode every trail I remembered, then used the ebike to explore all the ones I hadn't. I saw parts of town I had never been in before.

Our small group met in Lexington, MA to ride the Minuteman Bikeway. We decided to ride to Harvard Square and the Charles River before reversing our route and travel to Bedford.

That sounds like a fun idea, I think I'll plan a trip out of town with the bike and explore a whole new area. Thanks !
