Hub gear stand?

Any recommendations for training stands that are compatible with hub gear bikes?
Thanks!

Does it have a chain that goes into the end of the axle? That could complicate things

Actually, no. The wheel I’m thinking of has a S-A kick shift 2 speed. Should have made that clear. I’m wondering because I see descriptions that include a replacement skewer. Not appropriate for this hub, unless I’m really missing something!

Any wheel-on trainer should work. The replacement skewers are so that the cups on the end of the axle holder fit better.

i think the replacement skewers are so that the wheel on trainer clamps do not break the plastic ends on the standard skewer that came with the bike. i changed mine out to all metal when i was on a CompuTrainer. the plastic ends would never have survived.

I think you probably want something like these, depending on your trainer.

Anything up to a Kickr Core should work, I think. Might be a bit of a bother to get it adjusted if your OLD is narrower than 130mm.

FWIW, the axle nuts on your Sturmey-Archer S2 are 13/32 x 26tpi.
