School me on the Takagi AR-T crank
Hi all,
I tried researching the Takagi AR-T crank and discovered there is very little info out there regarding this crankset. Can anyone tell me if it was cold forged, or anything else about it's quality?
I always assumed it was on the same plane as the Sugino AT or SR Aerox given the tongue-in-cheek sort of nomenclature of "AR-T". However I recently purchased a bike with one and it is far less nicely finished. Still, it's a relatively decent looking crankset and I wouldn't mind using it on a build I have going. The rest of the build will be Cyclone or Superbe level though, so would this crank be out of place?
Thanks,
Chris

Pic from the web. I had not heard of this model but it looks pretty nice. BCD might be an issue for replacement rings. I know the early Tourney AD cranks did not have the 110/74 BCD that became the standard with Sugino's triples until Takagi came out with its XT triple.
