I learned a lot about this bike as well as myself, after changing so many components over the years. I'll probably never sell the bike, but being over 20 years old now (!!), it's getting harder to find good components for it.
You know, I'm surprised there aren't that many talking about 90's Stumpjumpers. Maybe these photographs might change that. Thanks.

Let me know if you're looking for replacement parts.

My current trail bikes, from oldest to newest.
Custom Curtlo softail, my first and favorite custom frame-built for 27.5 wheels when they were called 650b and there were only three tires and two forks to choose from. Ordered in 2008, received in 2009.

2015 Santa Cruz 5010, my first carbon bike and favorite full suspension bike to date! (My 8th FS bike since my 1996 Proflex) On the RAMBA trails in Michigan's Upper Penninsula

And my Otso Voytek fatbike, my 2nd fat bike after my 2012 Mukluk and my 2nd carbon bike after the 5010.

Here's some more on the Specialized M2 Pro:

Specialized had many Ritchey components on this bike, including a Ritchey Force Lite bar, Ritchey Logic pedals in red, and a Nitto\Ritchey seatpost. But over the years almost all of them were thrashed beyond repair.

This is what sold me; a M950 Shimano XTR Rear Derailleur. The bike had an XTR rear mech and an XT Front mech that clamped on the seat tube.

Specialized had this great Son of Stronarm Crankset, which I sold. Later, I found this M952 five arm XTR on eBay. I thought the five arm looked better.

Trek 4500 project. It was a gift, and it needed a lot of work. Before...

And After. Converted to a single speed MTB (I have added a chain tensioner since this pic).

Alright, new update on the DV9 and additions to the family. My wife didn't feel the Air 9 so my 17 y/o daughter snagged it, now my wife is on a 2018 Orbea Loki H10 (It's an H-LTD++ after I upgraded it, lol)
DV9 went from GX Eagle to XX1 Eagle, 2 wheelsets for trails and gravel/road and Sram Code RSC brakes 180mm F/R, CB Stamp 11 pedals, Ergon GA3 grips in red, Chris King Headset, Industry 9 40mm red stem and changed the teal color to red (Looks red/orange, close enough)

Wife's Loki got GX Eagle drivetrain upgrade (from Shimano SLX i think), Code RSC brakes 180mm F/R, 760mm CF handlebars, CB Stamp 5 pedals, Ergon GA3 grips in blue and an industry 9 40mm blue stem.
