palm trees to pine trees
Hi from San Diego! I'm a recreational road and mountain biker who loves to get out and get after it for fitness & fun. My dad was a cyclist through the 60s-00s riding all over the country, mostly California. I love his stories and it's inspired me to get in the saddle and explore longer stretches when my schedule allows. I have yet to do a bike packing trip but it's def on my bucket list. My dream ride is somewhere in the rolling hills of a mountainous countryside like highway 395 between Mammoth to Mono Lake. Most of my rides are coastal here in SD dodging traffic and tourists though. Cheers!

howdy! we’ll see you out there. the southern california regional forum is a good source of riding info. let us know if you need routes or other suggestions.we don’t have anything above 6k feet in sd county but the rolling, flattish and mountainous terrain north of the 8 fwy, west of the salton sea, east of the 15 fwy and south of palomar mountain has nearly everything you need for variety.

Thanks! Love me some SD county adventures. The climbs in La Jolla are no joke if you're looking for steeps and the views are epic.
