Has anyone compared their fit numbers for a road and hybrid bike?

I got a professional fit for a road bike on a Guru machine, but it turns out the seat setback is unphysically large for any bike. So I'm thinking of going onto a hybrid. I realize that there isn't any one-to-one conversion of road fits to hybrid, and so I'm not asking for that. But it does make me curious if anyone has done a fit on both bikes and has their numbers. it could be instructive.

They didn't recommend what bikes in your desired genre would fit you?

I'd either feel like I must have been taken or that I'm grotesquely not human looking.

I would ask them to look at hybrid bikes with you, or at least geometry charts, and have them help you know what to look at for your measurements. I'm considering a fitting session so I can have someone, who hopefully, knows what they're doing help me know what to look for. I'm ready for something to fit me better than my norm of buying something that seems ok when I look at it.

I need to go the other way. Hybrid to Road.
How well do the frame measurements compare? Does it matter that the frame shapes are different? I had a hybrid, size medium Specialized Crosstrail, with an effective top tube of 58.5cm and seat tube of 44cm that fit me pretty well. I need to figure out what size road bike would fit me well. A size 58cm road bike has been too large in the past IIRC.
