My bikes are in the garage, but the garage door is never opened and in fact the opener is unplugged AND there are also two bolt locks on either side of the garage door, AND we replaced the flimsy door to the outside that had a window with a solid core door years ago.

Since we don't have a parts washer here, I wish I could charge $50 just for cleaning the chain.

Trek mini madone.
Kiddie powered manual coaster brakes
45 mm tires
Anti crash devices
Shes been eye balling this for over a year. I’ve been trying to convince the wife that the walmart bike we bought her was garbage. Wife and I had a date night tonight, somehow ended up at trek. I thought I was getting new tires, wife decided to buy the bike.
After riding almost 2 miles, she proved that she was my daughter by crashing. Pretty amazing, now I know what I must have looked like when I rode with Velo. She came to a stop and for no apparent reason fell over. Pretty serious road rash on her elbow, swears she is never riding a bike again.
Mojo if you could look into filing a class action, the anti crash devices clearly don’t work. We can’t be the only victims………….

Did some work on the Cervelo. Looks fine, now. The derailleur hanger had to be hammered flat, but once I took care of that and made some adjustments, it was shifting better than before. The fall certainly made the hanger worse but, even before that, I'd suspected that it had gotten a little tweaked on the VA trip - it was always a little out of adjustment; part of me wonders if that contributed to the thrown chain, too. *shrug*

Interesting, my cervelo hanger looks bent, but I’ve never laid it on the drive side, or crashed. Shifts like it always had.

We are careful to keep the doors closed when we aren't out there. Fortunately, you cant see in from the street. If someone did break in, they would probably be more intrigued by the contents of the safe that is out there.

Our neighbors down the street, where Mrs. GJ goes for happy hour often as not, are in their 80s, and even though they never park in their garage they prefer to park in the driveway and open the garage to go into the house, rather than going up the front step. And then they leave the door open, and often the garage door is open and the door from the house into the garage is often open.

My bikes live inside the home. In the man cave. Condensation is at least as bad as rain, and it can develop inside the tubes.
