I only mentioned brunch because that's the artificial construct some people switch from coffee to beer.
Actually, I've found the Mimosa to be a dee-lightful way to get drunk at breakfast, on Sundays, when I'm not so hung over as to demand a Bloodly Mary.

Maybe before the last recession... not so much now; people have to hold 3 jobs just to make their yearly tattoo budgets; facial piercings would pose a dilemma: eat, pierce, or ink? Choose two.

Is it just me, or is this becoming a cliche?
It looks like the "Grand Opening" is in 3 days. Are you going?

It is probably going to be a couple more weeks until I make it up there, but I'll try to swing by.

Not a lot of info on the website. I don't drink beer, and am pretty low on the coffee drinking. I'l do a decaf cappuccino occasionally

Unfortunately, VC where the Portland vintage crowd likes to meet doesn't do the cappuccino, and they order out their deli sandwiches.

I'm sorry I never made it there. Didn't they also have live music? It sounds like heaven to me. I think combination businesses are a great idea if they're viable. I heard they have laundromats in Copenhagen that are also cafes. Now that makes a ton of sense, as our laundromats here are very uncomfortable.
