That's a Euclid group. The silver part on the pedals are plastic covers, they screw together and once removed they look like typical MTB pedals of the day..

After many swings & misses, I found Yokozuna brake cables & housing are the best choice for mechanical discs. Expensive, but this time they are truly worth it.

Building this one up for my daughter to go exploring the trails with me:

1996 Nishiki Cascade; just got an upgraded fork, a 1998 Marzocchi Bomber Z.3. Should be a good time!

Great looking bikes here! I am in the process of buying a vintage GT Karakoram which I plan to use for commuting as well as touring in the future. I think it is a 1994/5 model, in a nice blue colour with mostly original components, like the Deore LX components and Mavic rims. It is in great condition for a great price.
What does everyone think of these old GTs, and will it work for what I plan to?
I should be able to upload photos soon (new to Bike Forums)! : )

This is the only mountain bike I have liked riding. Maybe it's all the gravel roads in my area. 1999 Trek 820AL.

My dad picked it up a police auction with a broken derailleur hanger for $25.

Welcome! You're almost there; one more post and you'll be at 10, which is the magic number for posting pics. When you get the bike, post the serial number, or at least the first part of it; that should clue folks in as to the year.

There's also a separate thread here in the C&V section dedicated to the 3T GTs; people there will want to see it I'm sure.

Marin pine mountain

I have a old Cinelli saddle, some partial toe clips and some bar ends that should finish this off.

GT Karakoram

Here's the bike. It looks great in the photos even though I have not seen it in person yet.
I trust it will work well. 😅

‘86 Raleigh Mountain Tour Crested Butte

New to me. Love the ride the slack geometry provides. Have the stock portage strap on it's way from Ebay.

thanks it has a 1" and I will keep it in mind as a great deal, but would really like to find something a bit different something like an early 90's Bridgestone mb1 fork.

A Tange Switchblade or Bontrager equivalent would be oh so nice. But I'm a sucker for tapered straight blade forks.

Here’s my recently finished 1998 Kona Explosif. I tried to rehab the original Marzocchi Bomber suspension fork, but it seems to be missing some parts, somI went with this rigid Carver fork with canti posts. Total weight as shown is 24 lbs, so it’s checking my box for a lightweight (Reynolds 853 frame) mtb.
