Ishiwata 3.5 "Feather" frameset quality?

I'm looking at picking up a frameset built with these tubes. Does anyone have any experience with similar? Would it be worth building up as a randonneur?

You mean Si35, right?

It's good tubing; usually splined & tri-butted, iirc. The Fuji 'Black Ace' was famously made from it, and a few other Fuji classics.

So the tubing is good. The frames capability as a radonneurer is more about geometry, braze-ons, build quality etc. Most important is fit. Could you sit on or in it for multiple centuries?
