Cycling Poster on your shop wall

Do you have cycling poster adorning the walls of your shop or bike room? I was looking at the poster I've collected over the years and thought that would be a cool thing to have space for. If you do it would be fun to see pictures of your shops.

A full basement. What a concept! I would have to tunnel under my slab, and probably hit brackish groundwater at on the way down.

Very nice setup -- I covet the amount of space you have there.

When I worked at a local family bicycle store, in the early 80's, we had Campagnolo posters like this pinned to the wall. I assume that they were a perk from a supplier, or possibly, picked up by the store owner at an annual bike shop convention somewhere. Since the shop was more geared toward a "family line" of bicycles, these posters were relegated to the back of the shop, mostly out of the sight of the general customers. The first one I had ever seen, I think, was owned by a former worker. He had it up in his room at college, where the size of it seemed to fill the entire wall (the size of the poster is about 2.5 feet x 4 feet). Had I been lucky enough to be around at just the right time, I too could have taken one home with me, when a fresh one needed a spot on the wall. The posters did a job on me... the way that they captured the excitement and speed of bicycle racing, combined with the sheer exotic-ness of a land, culture, and event so far from my midwest upbringing, really drew me in and made me want to bicycle all the more. Maybe someday, I'll come across one.

It took some doing to find the Clement poster but I always loved it. It was in the room next to where my computer and work area was before I moved. The small pic is of the '9 Equinox I used to have in front of a E-2 Hawkeye at a small airport in So Jersey

This poster used to be in my bike room before I moved. Both posters are currently in my bedroom

Sorry to let you know the Wibberley is not one of a kind. Just picked this one up at an auction.

I used to have more, including a print of the famous Velo-Sport poster by David Lance Goines. I wonder what happened to it! Lost in a move perhaps. I do have another Goines print in the living room but it's not bike-related.

Only have one left and it's not in my shop because I hardly have a shop, only a little space in a half-basement of a very small house -- all surfaces covered with shelving, drawers, tools, wheels etc. This one is in my office:

Jacquie's handwriting reads "For Mark w/mud <heart>" -- I love it.

I have one of these posters too. I stumbled upon it when I went with my wife into an arts and crafts supply store while we were out of town visiting her family. They were selling several similar posters as themed gift wrap sheets. I got a second one that is cameras. My local bike shop also has a copy of "les Bicyclettes" on their wall.

And a future portrait of my wannabe riding abilities

here's hoping the future holds time trials around the Earth and other Worlds

I've been looking for one of those Velo-Sport prints, your post made me look for one again, and found somebody on eBay selling a used one! That's a classic Jacquie Phelan shot. I always thought of her as a twin of Bob Roll, separated at birth.

yea, my wife came home with that after we finished the room. My daughter moved out and we decided on a bicycle theme as a guest room. I have every year poster , but didn’t want to overdo it . I am still considering putting up the other years until I finish my bike shop.
