Any Benotto Volga trifold owners here?

Just bought a Benotto Volga trifold from Malaysia. Been struggling with the hook that hold the rear stay and front fork together when folded. Bike shop suggested to cold bend the hook so front and rear can stay folded and not loosen. Seems to help some what. Any of you familiar with this problem? wonder how you solved it? TIA.

Not sure if I got your question correctly, but if you are referring to the E-hook (of a Brompton), you can easily find replacement.
Or you may just find some steel wire and DIY.

Certainly some evolution for the brand: from Grand Tours bikes to clones.
