It's right up my alley. I have been taking behind bars shots for a while now and have a pretty good collection. I have made a game out of posting the pics on Facebook and asking my friends to guess where I am.

lol

That looks like an interesting ride... That's the weather we were supposed to have today; thankfully it didn't happen. I'll be posting one from my ride this morning, later on.

Gloomy Old Saint Paul

I rode my old Raleigh Roadster down along the Mississippi River this morning, under threatening skies. Radar showed rain all around us, but strangely we remained dry. Here are a couple I took across the river from downtown Saint Paul:

It's the head of Black Canyon in Black Canyon National Park. It's a gorgeous area to ride.

You're probably confusing me some other posters who think they walk (bike) on water.

Actually, there was a small footbridge on the right that I used, so the good times kept rollin'.

My thoughts exactly. I looked all over the place, but couldn't find anything decent in chrome for that application. If anyone has one, or knows of one, please let me know?

Thanks,

You've gotta love those bike paths along the Pacific Coast. I used to ride them all over the place, when I was stationed with VMFP-3 at MCAS El Toro.

This was back in the `80s, though. So I figure things have probably changed in one of two ways: 1) They have gotten better and more extensive, or... 2) The new tax code decimated infrastructure spending, and they are falling into disrepair. Of course, paved bike paths don't age as fast as highways, because the use is so much lighter. This one looks to be in really nice shape.

Along the beach from So Redondo to the end of the bike path at PCH and Sunset is almost exactly the same as it was in the 80s. The dept of beaches and harbors does a good job at keeping it up.
