San Diego Area C&V Bike Shop/Mechanic?
So my '82 Miyata 1000 will be arriving this week, but she's definitely going to need some TLC when she gets here. I've poked around and it seems like Ye Olde Bike Shop in University Heights (here in San Diego) is the most C&V friendly place I can find. That's the good news--the bad news is they're backed up 4-5 weeks with work and I'll be at the end of the line. I'm glad to hear that any LBS is busy, but I'd love to get pedaling sooner than later--anybody know of another shop or independent mechanic who might have more availability? I'm willing to drive a bit, but not to L.A.--like Snake Plissken, I escaped once and I ain't going back.
I've been thinking of calling one of them new-fangled mobile services, and seeing if I can help him/her as a way of learning a bit about the bike. Anyway, your suggestions and feedback is appreciated as always.

Any bike mechanic can tune up a bike like that. It doesn’t have to be some kind of C&V specialist.
Is there anything specifically wrong with it? If not just lube the chain and pump up the tires and go riding.
