Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Friend took some snaps when we were in the farming area. The building on the hill is part of the Reagan library. An Air Force One is up there, part of it anyway.

I had the brakes on the ritchey dialed in for the super teams. Put the mavics on didn’t change anything but the pads. Today I put the superteams back on and they were all out of wack. Had to open the clamp all the way up on both the front and rear break in order to get the wheels to spin freely. This was after I had the barrel adjusted all the way in. Strange.

YouTube find of the day.

I hadn't seen this . . . until now. It's OK. I'm sure it seemed much cooler in the '80s.

Wow, that's a lot of years to go without watching AF. Care for some Euro action? Make it a double feature!

The first 2+ minutes is just a guy working on a bike.

Not a promising start.

Now you know how to replace brake pads on mid-70s Campagnolo though!

3point6 pounds, or a bit heavier than ti frames are now. The Teledyne frames were commercially pure titanium and they were very prone to cracking.
