Did the pizza ride today, 4 of us. Two friends came for the first time and it was a nice ride with lots of talking and looking at houses and landscaping. They're both ex racers and they remarked how nice it was to not have to hammer all the time.
I had a "New Yorker" slice. Semi-thin crust with pepperoni, sausage, garlic, and Gorgonzola or some kind of cheese sprinkled on top. It was heavenly.

57 x 30 = 1710 posts
67 x 25 = 1675 posts
It can both be true, I have 30 posts/page, BillyD might have 25.

MoAlpha rides not for food nor drink, but pain...and a weird visual disturbance: Think I should see a doctor?.

When my sight went bad on a particularly cold and windy 200k, Ashton Lambie caught me, and guided me in. That's my claim to fame. That day, I had to wait about 2.5 hours for my sight to come back.

I once ran a 38:00-ish 10k on a hilly course at a college XC championship meet. I made it to the chute and immediately began to stumble. I stayed upright to grab my popsicle stick, but couldn’t walk after that. I had such bad vertigo, I had to hold onto the grass to keep from falling off the ground. No nausea, interestingly. I crawled to the team van and it passed in maybe 20 min. A motivated endurance athlete can really reroute some blood flow, man.

Speaking of visual disturbances, on my recent ride going up a nasty hill I had a visual migraine. It was psychedelic.

I got an email from the social security administration a few days ago. My annual checkup. Type in your password and we'll send you a link with a code. There was a link that wouldn't load. There was an ! where the www should be. I checked it out and the link went to a spam address. Thanks Panda Dome

Yep. That was 2011. In that Felix Wong blog, that's him and his bike with the Zipp wheels, and fenders. I thought it was an odd combo, but who am I to say? It worked.

It's an unpaid position and I'm not providing lodging if that helps make things easier
There's toilets here that probably need cleaning!

Greenville SC.
The only person I kind of know is the guy I'll be working for.
I'm both excited and horrified.

He was an insanely strong rider even back then, before the mustache. A beast.
