Trek 720 dark blue cable housing?

I tried searching but no dice. Has anyone been able to find a current vendor for this stuff? I used Jagwire's blue for my 21'' but would like something more correct for my 22.5'' if possible. Thanks!

Yokuzuna has some options, maybe something from them will work? https://www.yokozunausa.com/shop/cat...fter-kits-2795

Otherwise idk -- maybe there's something in the BMX world that will work?

Velo Orange has blue shifter and brake cable/housing packages that come close to that. The shifter housing is long enough for Barcon use.

Here's the brake cables on my Sequoia.

Those were a custom color made for Trek, to match the dark blue powder coat on the Blackburn racks and bottle cages. I don't know of any current production that matches.

Good looking bike. Did you just buy the 22 and 1/2? I’m curious as I have a buddy who just sold one who lives north of you. I have an 82

I searched hard for dark blue housing and tape about 5 years ago and came up empty. It's always bugged me that my 720's cables and tape don't match the rack and cages.

I don't exactly recall, but I may have found tape in a darker shade, but decided to go with the lighter tape so there wouldn't be light and dark blue clashing in the cockpit.

I found a cable set in my "stash" that looks slightly darker blue than what I installed, but not worth chasing after. It's "Lifeline" brand, carried by Wiggle in the UK.

I used this RISK cable and brake housing kit from Amazon for a build I did last summer. It works just fine.

A tip for housing on Porckchopbmx: in the past, the "cable with housing" kits were easy to find,. They also have more color choices when you get housing "by-the-foot" but you need to hunt for the page. That's how I found some "silver metal with clear covering" brake housing that was popular in the '80's.

Thanks, Iowa10Speed . yeah, Porkchop came through with the same exact stuff a few years ago when I was doing a '74 Paramount.
Yes, bikemig the 22.5'' came from Ron and I am now actively looking to sell the 21'' 720.
