Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Combined no hitter 8 innings for the starter who left after 8 innings and 115 pitches. The closer finished it.

She was entirely correct: eBikes are for people who can no longer ride real bikes.

Got two punish passes, but no honks. One was my fault for leaving room.

A young guy in a hot Eurosportsedan did intentionally leave me room to cut in from the shoulder and sprint across a long one-lane bridge with a traffic signal.

Guys who drive hot Euro sports cars and sedans are cool like that.

Was driving to Dallas yesterday after work on a toll road with a 70mph limit. I was cruising along at about 85 when a motorcycle passed me like I was standing still. He was easily going 150 mph. Not relevant to cycling, but he scared the hell out of me when he came up my backside and then swerved into the left lane and took off.
