I consider this my best bike photo, though you have to look hard for the bike

Perhaps it's a commentary on my skill as a photographer, but despite having ridden in some breathtakingly beautiful places, the only ones I could find that seemed worthy of this thread were from Going to the Sun Road, which as @jamesdak noted you can't take a non-beautiful picture of. So, I decided to break from C&V and post a cyclocross picture, which I think might justifiably be called my best as a cycling picture.
This is from a Cross Crusade race at the Washington County Fairgrounds in 2008.

I have no idea what my best shot is, but am enjoying these travel shots!
To be a bit different, let me submit a truly C&V photo.
It is from the 1982 Iron Horse Classic race in Durango, Colorado. I was traveling with a buddy and some of his friends who ("whom"?) were racing as Cat 3's. The Cat 1 & 2 groups included Joc Boyer, the first USA rider to enter the Tour de France. He is seen in this photo, just above and to the left of center (gray jersey, white cap). I think there are other well known racers of the era in the shot too.

(the camera was a Canon AT-1, with a Vivitar 70-210 lens. Film was probably Kodachrome 200 or 400)

I do have one other photo showing this person...
as a Raleigh nerd, I notice that he is riding a Raleigh Team bike. Perhaps he was part of the Skunk River Cyclists? i.e. Mike Fatka's team? That might narrow down the identification of this rider.

Man, I don't know if I have a "Best".
I have a few that I think are pretty good but for different reasons like evoking feelings, telling a story, beauty, n such but none that rises above the rest that I'd bunch in that group.

I race and photograph cyclocross. I also have trouble picking a "best." In the interest of variety this one is perhaps the one that is most unlike any of the other fine photos posted here.

My wife at speed in her pink bike shorts, August 2020. I was riding a bit in front of her and had to turn way around to take the photo.

Riding in Bend.
Not really a good picture, but the first time I got a decent picture with a phone. I mean, a phone propped up on a guardrail with two sticks and a timer.

My best is usually my most recent since I never know whether it'll be my last. This one is from Saturday's annual ride-my-age ritual self-torture. With a busted up neck and back, this now doubles my preferred 30 mile rides and usually ends up with neck spasms. But I'll do it anyway. For now.
It was a beautiful afternoon.
