Show us pictures of your bike next to bodies of water...

This has been a popular thread in the road forum, and one that serves a few different purposes. It lets you show off your bike, eye other peoples' rides. And this is a great excuse to show off your scenery, too.

If you don't have any pictures of your bike next to a body of water (river, lake, ocean, whatever), you'll have to bring your camera for a scenic bike ride.

Please tell us where the photos are from.

A fender on a cervelo! Well, I never.

I blew it - I took a picture of the beach Saturday but left my bike out of it. I'll be smarter next time.

My current bike at the Olympic Venue port in Faliron.

...same as above but taken during the evening.

Again my bike (foreground) with a buddy's 8-speed taken at Kavouri beach.

...same as above but from a different angle.

...and the closeups! lol

I have ton's more pics but I think these are enough for now!

Addition: Here's a nice shot taken during the weekend... btw, I'm the guy in the right!

Sounds like a ride to Horse Thief Reservoir or Wilson Lake is in order, then. And this thread has officially forced motivation onto its first victim. Muwahahahaha!

I think I camped at Wilson Lake on a cross country road trip once. Or maybe it was Cedar Bluff Reservoir? It had seagulls!

Wilson, Cedar Bluff and Horse Thief would be a haul. I guess a trip to Scott Lake is in order https://www.kdwpt.state.ks.us/news/St...ocations/Scott

That's because you see it all the time; it's nothing 'special' that you won't be able to see next week.

I don't have this frameset anymore, but it used to be mine, and I rode it by the water in the photo ... so I think that counts?

This was Diablo Lake, on the North Cascades Highway. I camped (with the bike) on the lake in the background. It was a warm day in May or June, and I rode until I ran out of water ... stupidly, I forgot to bring my purifier with me.
