Any gay pro riders in Tour de France?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Any gay pro riders in Tour de France?

I was curious as to how many, if any, gay (open or closeted) riders were in this year's TdF. Not that it matters, but with a handful of pro athletes in other sports coming out in recent years, I've never read or heard about a pro cyclist coming out or rumored to be gay/lesbian.

Now, just to be clear, this question in no way relates to my own sexual preferences, not that there's anything wrong with that but I was curious if there is diversity in the biking world.

A related question: Do you personally know a gay/lesbian cyclist? I haven't come across one yet. Everyone in the Forum seems to be a single or a happily married hetero.

Cheers!

I'd imagine there are 6. (Based upon 19 teams of 9 riders each times 3.5%)

Just look for the male cyclists that shave their legs.

As a rule, all female professional athletes are gay.

Wait, what, I am gay? Do I have to tell my wife and kids, or do they already know, what with the spandex and all?

I agree.
I don't care what TdF riders do when they are not on the bike.
I don't care what they eat, what they drink, where they sleep or with whom they sleep.
I don't really even care what they have to say in interviews.
All I care about is what they do while riding.

3.5% applies to general population. In a subpopulation of individuals who routinely shave legs and wear lycra in public, has to be at least 10%.

Very funny... you assume that randomly selected individuals from the general population aim to become pro cyclists. But there's no proof. In fact 99% of the people I know do not ride a bike.
