Campagnolo rear wheel bearing service
Hi
Need help with rear wheel bearing service.
I have done this a few times with shimano , but never Campy.
After you remove the axle does the cup pop off with careful maneuvering?
And what about the other side where the cassette goes?

Appears I may have to leave it alone. It's not too bad. Bike shop owner said it's about a 6 out of 10.
It's on a bike that I will not ride all the time.
Still......be nice to have it done.....
Happy to bring to a bike shop, but the few I checked do not do Campagnolo.
Oh well......I have other 🚲🚲🚴♀️🚴♀️🚲🚲🚲 to ride 😁

To perhaps state the obvious: these hubs use Campagnolo 8-speed cogs. The cog spacing is compatible with Campagnolo 8-speed shifters.
I have taken apart similar hubs many times. Unless a shop has performed this work a few times, they will be less reliable than if you were to do undertake the servicing yourself.
These hubs have grease injection holes in the centers of the hub shells, meaning that they are either Chorus or Record; the good stuff. If it was my first time working on these, and the bearing preload was good, and the bearings were reasonably smooth, I would first inject a few cc's of grease using the handy injection ports. Clean up the ejected grease on both ends of the hub.
Next, remove the rear freehub body by carefully (!) extracting the small grub screw holding the driveside locknut, unwinding, and then cleaning out the freehub cavity. Do not lose or mangle the small springs or pawls, which will fall out and lodge themselves in shag carpet at the slightest provocation. Lubricate the ratchet and pawls with a light grease. Secure the pawls and springs prior to re-installation using a couple of revolutions of dental floss.

I think it's the record group.
