Diamond Back Traverse MTB - value?

I don't have pictures yet but it's in good condition selling for £55 (if I decide to buy it).

I have found the specs online here: (it was only made in 1993 and 1994 I believe).

Thanks for helping out.

I did a google image search and it looks like it's been offered for many more years than that. It's always been a low-end offering. You can safely pass on this one.

Thanks! So not even worth the money then at £55 ?

Still haven't got photos but here are some specs I have from the actual bike:

Shimano Altus C10 rear mech (sorry I may use some terminology wrong) - 7 cogs on the rear
3 Cogs on the front mech
Continental TravelCONTACT tyres - with good tread front and rear
Trans X component handlebar riser
Tekto brakes - in a funky pinky-purple colour - does not look standard
Altus C20 printed on the front brake levers
ST-CT15 printed on the shifters

All for £55 ?

Good or bad ?

Your links don't work for me - site requires login to view. So here's a 1993 Traverse from a different source:

First thing I'd check is that the Shimano shifters haven't gummed up from age. If they have, typically they can be freed with solvent followed by lube.

If it's in good working order, I don't think you can go wrong at that price. It's a decent low-end MTB with hi-ten tubing. Good, solid transportation, and not terribly attractive to thieves.

A functional, serviceable bicycle in general is worth that , sure, ---
