A Long Distance Accomplishment?

Maybe ? I am sure my bike club has several long distance touring members , whose mileage has far exceeded my goal. To have my Cycling app confirm that I have ' ridden around the world."
This might not deserve a Gold ribbon among my clubs records, perhaps a bronze.
How do you like my data? Is it worth an honorable mention.
This distance achieved since Jan 1, 2013. Since that date, I have spent approximately 0.04 x of my waking hours atop my bike and 19% of my cycling being used for commuting purposes.
My cycling data as recorded by the Endomondo site.
My new claim , onto the Moon.

No. Just take a nap. Then figure a way to take less time from the first one.

Average pace is 14.3 mph? That's pretty good all time imo

Keep racking up those miles. My next personal milestone is 100,000km (62,137mi.) If I maintain my current pace, I should get there in August or September of 2021.

14.3 kph, or ~8.9 mph. Slow & steady wins the race!

Sorry to have to correct. The site uses Kilometers.
Meaning my average is closer to 9 mph. .
I do a lot of city riding and commuting to work. That kind of riding, one does not worry about speed. When touring, which I do a lot; I'm usually the last one out and last one back.

worse is being that person of first one out last one back. Almost wonder why those folks take on such a ride to only barely make it thru it all. lol

Only once Did I fume as to feeling resentment at those speed demons.
Once we did the one day ride at Death Valley. They had 60 miles , 100 miles and 200 mile rides.
There was some semi pro team there. ( Jelly Belly as I recall.)
I did the 100 miler , as I said. No big deal. I ride 100 mile rides at least once a month .
Taking it easy up the big hill towards Scotty's Castle , by the time I returned it was like around 4 hours plus.
Yes, we did stop for lunch. , probably Jelly Belly did not. ?
By the time we returned to the starting point, that Jelly Belly team did their double century in about maybe one hour more than our century.
Again , tho ; as much city riding as I do , I suspect that significantly slows down one's average.

it'd be unique to have that sort of ride event around. The typical 50, 60, 75, 100 mile rides are set at one distance. Doesn't divide them down to compensate for anyone. Even though they are never a race, the event waits until the final sweep is clear of any riders before it does its celebration... idk about anyone else, but after being up before the sun is up, the celebration does not seem so great when they wait until that last struggler is done even tho they started at the same time as the early birds.

Easy mistake to make. No Biggie.
One reason I do this post.
I love the way Endomondo provides extra data such as calculating how far you've gone about the globe.
I have not explored that option. But, at one time , the site calculated an estimate of how much CO 2 , you have Not produced.

Pretty nice for a working guy. Nothing to sneeze at there.
I added mine up for the same time, retired.
Tour bike with Rohloff14 > 16,700 miles.
Same bike with SA 5w > about 8,000.
CCM with old and new SA 3 sp > 3,600
Spez hybrid 3x8 > about 2,300
Total 30,600. My life avg is only 10.5 mph city, maybe 12.6 highway. LOL I guess I spend a lot of time coasting around.
Miles in a little peloton, maybe 50.
Before I was 50, I didn't have much time to ride out on highway runs. My bikes were rather heavy and useless too.
Not having a light really sucked also.

I don't do touring or commuting, only my racing and training. I never kept a log of my past riding so no idea what my Historical distance is and only have a log since joining Strava in June 2019. Since then, I have done 14,137km, mix MTB and road.

So far this year it is:
Distance 8,261.3 km
Time 337h 20m
Elev Gain 96,473 m
