Status check on Wahoo - are they in financial trouble?
I've heard some rumors. Wondering if anyone knows anything. Everything on Wahoo's website seems to be on-sale at the moment.
The new Zwift Hub trainer seems to have seriously undercut Wahoo's Kickr Core pricing. Meanwhile Wahoo is launching an even more expensive ($1300) Kickr V6 that is only minimally different than the V5 (which they are currently selling for just $800). After the last two years, the market for indoor trainers has to be pretty close to saturated at this point. I don't imagine there are a lot of buyers left.
Don't get me wrong, I own a Kickr (and an Elemnt Bolt) and they're great products, but I'd definitely buy that Zwift Hub trainer if I was in the market, which I'm not- and hoping I won't be if Wahoo suddenly goes belly up.

no idea. but i assumed the price cut was due to cyber monday. i only looked yesterday. was surprised to see a V1 element for 199, regular 379. but new roam is still 399.
