721A for a smaller rider, 21 speeds catalog says 14, looks like it may even have the biopace rings removed which is good since there is a issue according to this thread https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...yata-721a.html

I've posted about this site before. Sometimes you get deals, other times not so good.

Maxsold is a website that sells home closeouts and some commercial

CATCH!! They have the sale end on a day and then a few days later you have to attend and pick up your goods. No mailing no late or early pick up

Photos will be horrible and you can't preview the auction. Captions may have no bearing on what you see (ex. I bought a Raleigh listed as a "French bike made in England")

Anyway, here are a few:

Canton MA

https://maxsold.maxsold.com/auction/...ack-a-2972446/

Univega (unknown model) - auction ends Wednesday night at 7:45pm local

Currently at $2

alongside it is a "Lotus men's bicycle with seat and bag", also currently at $2

Then a Fuji Ace and a Mongoose Crossway - both stuck at $2

Here is a Terry in Canton MD ending on a different day (ends Thursday at 6:18pm). Current bid $16.35

Terry Women's bike with Shimano breaks, two water bottles, water bottle holders, u-lock with keys. 24" front wheel and 26" back wheel. Untested.

On the same sale is something called a "Peugeot Nike" currently at $105 (yet the Terry is a $17???)

And some bike posters that haven't attracted a bid yet

Fillet brased frame with Campagnolo dropouts? Was this at all common at any point on Ritchey frames?
I'm glad there's a continent between me and that.

Its not high end and it’s a little girls bike. But my first bike was a white heat so this is very nostalgic for me.

Interesting. Would love to know the story of this one. If it's a real Yeti, I never knew they built road bikes.

Pretty sure the fork and the chrome are not original, chrome is not very good but has an ok industrial quality to it to me. Fork is lugged which I cannot find any Tom made or used like it or any chrome forks or frames.

The frame does appear to be legit but a year is a big question for me.

Marinoni with (some) Mavic

Disclaimer: I know this guy, have bought small stuff from him, and I know he's shipped bike frames (at least) before.

Too big for me.

Gios? Made in France? Reynolds 453?

Looks like a quality frame with great lug work, seller says it's a Gios, but frame indicates it was made in France. Certainly doesn't look like any Gios I've ever seen. Also don't think I've ever come across anything made with Reynolds 453. At any rate, could be a great score for someone.

Dropouts are what Gitane used, as is 453 on some models. Does it lack a chainstay bridge (mine does)?

EDIT: yes it does, is a Gitane Defi, 1985? I think.

Attn: merziac RiddleOfSteel Any other tall Cannondale searchers.

Guy states it is 26.5 CTT and it is rare I see these in that size. Any other tall riders want a Cannondale 3.0 series for $100? Not sure if he would ship.

Per the decal this is a Tre Tubi SL frame, and those 3 tubes are "shaped" in the center sections. No doubt that Francisco Mendiz has a Spanish name, but his headbadge seems to feature the Italian flag, and the icon a bit of a nod to Battaglin, I'd say.

Could be Mexico. They have some history with Italian bikes.
