Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've driven a car over that bridge many times. Well, once lol. I'm terrified of bridges. A real phobia. On our honeymoon we were driving up to Cloverdale and wine country. I didn't know about this bridge. I made it (driving 50mph) but coming back to Oakland airport my wife drove. The other times we've been out there my wife drove, too. I was so busy being phobic I didn't realize they have a bike path or bike lane on that bridge? How scary is that? Is it separate from cars and protected, or ??? It's freeway, right?

Kind of loud. May be temporary. They are trying to work out a movable wall and open the bottom roadway in the morning and the top in the evening.
