Right on, I thought about it more last night. I think when I ride the madone, I know about the over lap, so I automatically make the adjustments while riding to not have that happen. Foot forward in tight turn, and so on.
The emonda was new and I didn’t even think about it. My daughter was riding super slow last night so I was weaving back and forth in tight s turns to stay with her. The left foot kept hitting the tire where the right foot wasn’t.
When I say slow, 3 mph.
Anyways, everything is cool now.

Trek FX6 Sport would fit the bill. Your N+1 quest is not complete.

When I was in high school I played the cello, and we got invited to play at disney. It was interesting. Not many people showed up to watch us. I didn’t think about it then, but now that you mention it, I suspect it’s just another way for Disney to make money. Invite a high school band, they have to pay park entry.

My daughters’ HS band would go do a parade in Disneyworld every year which I suspect is both an honor and a scam. Older daughter’s college band got an invite to this year’s Rose Bowl which I think is a legit honor. But she graduated and her current band role is getting 4th and 5th graders to play together.

Lester I am filing a formal complaint. You never make art work when you ride around PHX.

So much for that. I set up the trainer, thinking that I'd need to get in a little exercise after walking the girl to the bus stop, but then I noticed the icicles and dam starting to form on our roof overhangs. 70 min of roof raking later, I think that I'm good for the day. Snow, the exercise gift that keeps on givin'.

Man, if you're a Rapha fan or just Rapha-curious, now's the time. They've got some really good stuff on sale, some at very steep discounts. My burgundy bib tights dropped to $125, so I couldn't resist any longer. Going to continue to monitor a couple of jerseys and jackets. I don't really *need* any more, but they'd get used and would be nice to have, 'specially at a good price.

I'm wrong. For some reason, I thought my iPhone 14 used a USB-C....and then I went to actually look at the cord I use every night to charge it. It's still Lightning.

Next year. Some iPads (maybe the Pro?) are already C.
Mind, AG and I (and a bunch of her family) got phones now to continue having cable compatibility with each other on trips, and will likely all switch to C at roughly the same time.
The C takeover is already frustrating, where my new headphones use it but the 6-port charger on the coffee table has none. I can reuse the MBA charger for now, but it's annoying. And the C charging blocks tend to have fewer ports (a 6 is supposed to be available in "late spring").
It may be better in the end, but right now it makes me want to scream.

Old obsolete charging cords will be the new pollution plastic straw scourge for Gretta to shame us all with. How dare you!

On Monday's ride, a fellow cyclist had a pinch flat. He had a very hard time replacing the tube and as a result pinched the spare tube. He finally was able to get the flat fixed on the second try but remounting the tire was a big struggle.
He was using Conti GP5000s. Clincher.
As a hoarder of consumables, I only recently used up my GP4000s tires and am running GP4000sII now, I find them reasonable to mount, tight but doable. Obviously in another 1-2 years I will have to get tires and would ordinarily get the newer GP5000s.
Can anyone confirm or refute that the CLINCHER GP5000s is a much tighter/tougher mount than the GP4000?? I know the tubeless "ready" one was a ***** but that's not what I am asking.

I graduated from high school in 1981. That's longer than some here have been alive and I'm one of the younger ones here!
Sad.
