Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hmm. Is there a video of this?

Maybe I'm wrong. Fortunately, I've never experienced it up close and personal.

His mechanic actually owned up to it. Repaired at no charge. The bike was a cad 9 I believe.(I could be wrong on the model but I know it was a Canondale) No hatch in the bb. So when he ran the cable in, for whatever reason it went under the bb, instead of over it. It just sawed its way through over time.

Just picked up a second of the 34" monitors. Now I have one for here until we move, and after moving I'll be in full super-villain lair mode. At least, such as the craptop can support.

I don't like the idea but I haven't looked into it. Reminds me of the "Grand National" champion thing they did in the 60s.

There is a barrel adjuster at the rear mech, and high/low screws at both. I am unfamiliar with brifters, but I would imagine there is a barrel adjuster somewhere for the front mech.
