With a start like this, I should just go back to bed. Too bad we’re celebrating the spawn’s birthday today (actually turns 2 later this week).

Coldest morning of the year in our unheated house. 53A. Unable to leave the cocoon. It's past time to feed the critters. Max has reminded me twice already
Edit: Why is it bold? Huh. Bold was checked. But why? I didn't do it.

Epic comeback last night. I went to bed at the half. The Chargers can only blame themselves, they eased up on the D and let them score that TD before the half and regain some confidence. Bad mistake.

AG is underway and cranking away pretty well. Faster than intended, I think. We will see.

Hope you have better luck than me.
I was actually really enjoying myself. I absolutely love riding weekend mornings, very little traffic, almost zilch where I live. I was doing base miles so I kept my heart rate below 130. This allowed me to not overheat and sweat more.
My feet were just starting to get a little cold when I got the flat. Pulled out a piece of bone from my tire.
Changing a tire in below freezing temperatures has always been a big fear of mine. It’s up there with have to a take a poop while flying. I always assumed if it happened I would call someone to come get me. Today I had all the tools, changed the tire in record time. I couldn’t get the tire to properly seat for some reason. I tried multiple times, this one spot just wouldn’t go down. I started to reach for my phone to make the call, but I HTFU and got it done.
The 4 miles I had to ride after changing the tire were not enjoyable at all.

I miss my 95 integra. Liscense plate read Chveon.
Back when the chive was actually worth going to.
If I could find a 2000 integra or older, I would be happy with that as an airport car. What people are asking for them currently is stupid.

Parity could also result in fewer big blowouts and fewer big comebacks. What we have must be the most awesome form of parity, with no lead safe and no game over in the first half. Right now everyone has hope in every game.

We didn't watch the game, we were streaming Alfred Hitchcock presents on the Roku channel. I was checking in periodically and then boom its over. Trevor grew up in Cartersville about 15 miles north of my house. That picture was taken in Cartersville on the town square. Local boy does well, it's a nice story.
Justin Fields also grew up near our house, maybe 5 miles away. Unfortunately, he was drafted by the Bears, where quarterbacks go to die.

It's also the sort of wonderful "normal" car that's why I loved the '90s Hondas - longitudinal engine, LSD, double wishbone suspension front and rear. Just great engineering. The new ones not so much.
