There was one of these for sale locally a few years ago. It had a Campagnolo Rally rear derailleur and I thought seriously about buying it just for that, but we have a already have a Santana that rarely gets ridden, and I had no idea what I would have done with the rest of the Gitane. Considering that older tandem prices have pretty much hit rock bottom in most markets, I'm really glad I passed on it.

Crazy "innovations" at the Moto factory after Ben Lawee stopped running the USA spec range...but they are light frames, a bit too flexy, but nice riding despite the deficiencies (not worth $200 IMO)

it's one of those '80s Motos with In-external brazing, there was a high-end model that use metric Columbus tubing but this looks a tick or two lower in the range, plus it has that awful crude internal brake routing that was just two holes punched in the top tube!
