Last night I got home just in time to get kitted up for Zwifting at about 6 minutes before 6. I've been doing the Tour de Zwift rides, and I saw that one was about to start at 6, and that the Long ride was 21 miles. That suited what I wanted to do, so I signed up. Once I was going I realized it was in "New York", and I was reminded why I HATE riding in "New York" - too many ups and downs in too short a distance, plus in the imaginary flyover segments, there are steep pitches of 15% or so. Bleah. I missed getting into the top 100 out of 208, but I did manage NOT to get into the BOTTOM 100. That was a tiring hour!

Traveled around the Syracuse Metro Area this evening. At no point was I detained by law enforcement. I stopped at all stop signs and red traffic lights.

Had a very rare Puerto Rico license plate sighting on my walk/jog activity. 
The last four or five times I've walked from the office I've seen a guy playing a guitar in a storage shed. Granted, they've all roughly been at the same time of day, but it does make one wonder how much time he spends there?
Along the MUP there was two bikes leaning against a tree. No one anywhere nearby.
Maybe the police should patrol there more instead of setting up stop sign traps?

I have not yet been back on the bike- going to hit the trainer today and see how it goes. It’s been a week so I imagine it’ll be fine, but I have this irrational fear that I will have zero fitness and it will make me not want to ride

I’ve been pulled over for speeding on a bike doing 45 in a 30. Was not ticketed and the sheriff was amazed that a bicycle could go that fast (even if it was downhill).
