Surprised there's no action on this yet. Especially with the free shipping. The verdigris on the rivets is beautiful if you are into that sort of thing. And the overall condition is good. Many, many years of riding left in that one. I hope folks aren't put off by the visible cracks. I doubt they run very deep. The saddle's leather is quite thick and robust and as I said, it has a lot of life left in my opinion. I'd be in the market except for the fact I have several on bikes and several in boxes and don't need more.
Good luck!

And the Brooks Pro has been discontinued, only adding potential value to all of those in the wild.
Not saying you don't have a point, you do, but it isn't always about money. Putting a brand new B-17 on a bike with patina might be a problem for some.

No doubt, but it is apples and oranges to some collectors. The Brooks Professional was stock on some bikes and if you need one to complete a build, here you go. And if the bike has patina also, so much the better.

Also not to mention that you don't criticize sales items and their offered prices. If you don't like it, click away.

If the price were outrageous it's typically worth saying something, if only for the sake of the seller, but that's extremely rare in the C&V sales section. OP is a respected seller here and for what's being offered the price is fair.

In fact I'm violating a different rule of not hi-jacking a members offering so off I go.

That's ok.
We are made unique, like body and mind. We don't need to have some opinions regarding things around us.
I don't mind about that opinion.
I wish to hear opinios about the Raleigh track bike posted on FB for 5,500$ or the 22,000$ Colnago???
And thanks you are keeping my thread warm, on the 1st page.🥳

A quick check of eBay completed sales shows that the OP is well within the range (actually lower end) of what they sold for except for exceptions on either side of the spectrum (low bid wins and high dollar oddities).
Reasonably good price, from a solid BF member.
In fact, I am tempted...

I know the discussion of price happened back in January, but we don't allow it in the classifieds. You can look at the sticky for our reasoning.
