I think it's time.
I moved into NYC a few months ago from San Diego, and I was really excited about the prospect of commute biking, but I always found excuses to just take the subway.
Seems like coronavirus has pushed us all into the deep end of the pool in many ways, so I recently got an old, used bike from a friend that was moving away and am excited to refurbish it and using it as my primary means of mobility in the city.
I think of commuting as the soft entry into the bike world, so I am actually excited about really starting to get into more recreational biking as time goes by, but for the time being, I just need to change the chain and gear on this old rusty Bianchi so I can go to work and pick up some groceries.
