MTB --> Cargo Bike Conversion
Last year, the local rails-to-trails system was extended to within a mile of my house. The trail already went to the nearby Kroger parking lot.
I've been wanting to build this little grocery-getter since January. But, I didn't have all the jig parts I needed; and I had too many other projects going.
Now, I have all the jig parts, and I finalized the drawing so I could use (mostly) stuff I already have.
The donor frame is an older Giant AT760 (?). The down tube will get re-used as the mid-headtube. New downtube is 2"OD x 0.049 wall 4130.

I have a similar project in mind, but since the rear triangle is dead, I was thinking of making it into something like a big dummy.
The thing that's stopping me is I want to make it electric, and can't figure out the motor

I'm resisting electric as long as possible. The people around here that go electric are mostly not-assists - just straight up e-bike with a throttle. Even though I know I shouldn't care, it annoys me; especially when they zoom down the MUP's.
