Anyone know how to contact John Beckman?

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to contact John Beckman, who was recently employed as a cycling race announcer in Colorado Springs, and was himself previously a sprint racer? I'm trying to get in touch with him to ask about a rare track frame that he may have raced on, as part of my ongoing research into the history of titanium bicycle design.

Thanks!

I might be new-fashioned, but cold calling someone on their personal cellphone regarding research seems invasive, especially when that person probably doesn't know that their cell number is listed on a public website. As a millennial I know I might have different feelings about that than some other folks. An email address or a link to the correct John Beckman profile on Facebook would be ideal.

Point taken. Time to break out the ol' pen and paper. Of course, if you knew what my handwriting looked like, you might not be so quick to condemn a fellow cyclist to such a bewildering experience...

Did you know that the first commercial typewriters were introduced in 1874?

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

I'm going to change the title of this thread to "Anyone care to elaborate on the history of communications technology?" 🤣

A telegraph? Are there still telegraphs anywhere?! I know there are homing pigeons...
