Just... wow

I know there are some pretty awful peeps out there prowling around; pretty hard to forget when some of the worst are running countries you're familiar with...

I guess part of the appeal of these scumbags is that they're just so terrible it's actually entertaining. Here's a case in point...

I was trying to find an email, having a look through my spam folder, and was intrigued by this one, simply titled: mnwn mnwnh.

Enjoy

I know dominic06 is one of your password on day of hack..
Lets get directly to the point. Not one person has paid me to check about you. You do not know me and you're probably thinking why you are getting this email?

in fact, i actually placed a malware on the adult vids (adult porn) website and you know what, you visited this site to experience fun (you know what i mean).
When you were viewing videos, your browser started out operating as a RDP having a key logger which provided me with accessibility to your display and web cam.
immediately after that, my software obtained every one of your contacts from your Messenger, FB, as well as email account.
after that i created a double-screen video. 1st part shows the video you were viewing (you have a nice taste omg), and 2nd part displays the recording of your cam, and its you.
Best solution would be to pay me $1120 . We are going to refer to it as a donation. in this situation, i most certainly will without delay remove your video.

My BTC address to send to: 366YvaUKk5CMPXtKtgVGome2fEULy72iFu
[case SeNSiTiVe, copy and paste it]

You could go on your life like this never happened and you will not ever hear back again from me. You'll make the payment via Bitcoin (if you do not know this, search 'how to buy bitcoin' in Google).
if you are planning on going to the law, surely, this e-mail can not be traced back to me, because it's hacked too. I have taken care of my actions. i am not looking to ask you for a lot, i simply want to be paid. if i do not receive the bitcoin;, i definitely will send out your video recording to all of your contacts including friends and family, co-workers, and so on. Nevertheless, if i do get paid, i will destroy the recording immediately. If you need proof, reply with Yeah then i will send out your video recording to your 8 friends. it's a nonnegotiable offer and thus please don't waste mine time & yours by replying to this message.
Just... wow. What a prick

In my experience, email threats like that are not going to do anything to you if you ignore them. They don't know you from anyone and are just hoping to scare any sucker into paying. Delete, delete, delete. In fact, never open unknown emails like that.

A real threat would be ransomware that takes over your computer until you pay.

In either case, make regular backups and be prepared to reformat your computer if you're really hacked.

Never pay blackmailers. Even if they are legit (this one isn't), they'll always come back for more. Also, get a privacy cover for your cam if you don't have one.

I started to get worried, but I figured out he was lying when he said "FB", I've never had a facebook account.

(I really need to stop using dominic06 as a password everywhere...)

If stuff on The Onion actually really would happen. The world would be one non stop party maybe in a different dimension where I am planning on going.

I thought it'd go without saying that this *****'s plausibility is zero... cockhead plainly doesn't even know what he's talking about, let alone his wild guesses at what he's blackmailing me for.

I just found his hide pretty remarkable - don't consider it blackmail, I just want to get paid. Pffff... fair payment would be for him to die in a fire.

Not at all. I don't hate people for having a go at me; I hate em for being stupid arseholes. This guy ticks both boxes - how many folks is he gonna suck in by opening with a password 99.9999% of recipients will find unfamiliar?

I guess I'd hate him more for being a more effective arsehole, like this scumbag:

Dont ever open unknown email. You can always look at it by not "opening" it by using the "view source" option. It allows you to read it, where it came from and what route it took before opening.

...have you considered just paying the money from the bank transfer from Nigeria that you can get from that other guy who keeps e-mailing me ? All you need to do is forward him your deposit information. Apparently it's all legal.
