Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I sure wouldn't want to do an engine swap like that. The early Oldsmobile mini vans came with the 3800, no supercharger. Those vans were a turd.
If I was going to swap an engine into a 3.4 equipped GM mini van I would consider a 3.9 from a Monte Carlo or Impala. Same 60 degree block as the 3.4. I was impressed by the feel of the 3.9s I drove.

I’m in love with the new Miata. Cherry red. I guess I could mount my bike to the front.

Seems like it should only be driven twice a year.

Stinking hot today. Spent the morning vanishing boat wood, then hit the nurseries trying to find some plants. Sweating like there's no tomorrow.

It's 60s and raining here in the City of Brotherly Love. It was in the 90s and humid from Sunday to Wdnesday.

No, but it’s looking like we’ll have to replace one or both in the back. That’ll cost a nice vacation. 😥

Supposed to be 92 here tomorrow and 107 by next Tuesday. Some friends are driving to the coast 60 miles north of here and riding 80 miles. I don't think I'll go.
