Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There was a movie about that. Seems like just yesterday that I saw it again. Wish I could remember the name.

For various reasons, I waited to get the vaccine until June. Got my second shot yesterday and had a rough time sleeping last night. Lots of body aches and every joint injury I ever had has stepped up to say "howdy".

I'm deeply considering selling the R3, getting Rival etap and road wheels on the revolt and having a single bike. Someone talk me out of it.

No chills yet. After the first shot I felt like this for a day and it was mild by comparison. I rode on the Saturday following that shot which was a Thursday also.

Mrs John didn't have any reaction other than being a little more tired than usual.

It's good to have a back-up bike.
