International Bike Day

Today is International Bicycle Day in Guatemala, do they celebrate this in other countries like USA Holland etc?

Yes! June 3rd is now the 'official' World Bicycle Day named by the UN. I still prefer the unofficial April 19th because of the backstory lol. In my country several cities will hold critical mass type rides in the evening, there'll also be one in my city but I won't attend because I'm still not fully vaccinated.

May = bike month and 'ride your bike to work day' = third Friday in May are probably bigger deals here in Parts Unknown. Adventure Cycling Association is celebrating Bike Travel Weekend this weekend (June 4-5-6).

My virtual riding buddies throughout Asia are posting International Bike Day ride images on social media.
